Angie with Search Dog Arrow and Dee with Search Dog Grip traveled to Adelaide last weekend to undertake the test with the South Australian USAR Task Force. Having only passed the prerequisite Fundamental Skills Assessment on our home training ground the previous week, the two teams were keyed up and ready to go. Both teams performed very well, completing 4 searches and finding a total of 7 hidden helpers in a variety of search sites that included concrete rubble, large logs, cars and tunnels.
Peter and Elke also attended as assessors, which bolstered the number of available experts to assess the teams.
Congratulations to all on your hard work, it is amazing to have two deployable teams in in Southern Cross Search Dogs Victoria!
